Performance School: Small Group Training

Performance School will take advantage of small group training. I will limit participation to six people per group. As opposed to one-on-one training or large group training (10+ students per 1 coach), small group training offers notable advantages that I will explain

One-on-one training has the best student to coach ratio which allows all of the coaches attention to be focused on only one student at a time. However, the drawback is that the student will pay a premium price for this type of focused attention from the coach.

In a large group, the cost per session is diminished because there are more students splitting the cost of the session. However, it is obvious to see that it is much more difficult for the coach to individualize his instructions to each and every student.

In small group training, there tends to be the best of both one-on-one and large group training and none of the negatives. Cost is reduced plus there is still sufficient attention paid to each student. Plus, in my experience, small groups tend to develop a level of camaraderie that comes from mutually sharing in the striving and straining that physical training requires. Group members encourage, motivate, and compete with each other in a way that develops an environment conducive to success. If you miss a session, you’re not only letting down the coach, but your fellow students as well. Accountability is huge when undertaking something like this. This is why Performance School will utilize small group training.

Performance School is less than 3 weeks away! Contact me with questions or to sign up right away.

Performance School!!

Starting August 30th, I will be offering a small group training program, Performance School. During this 12 week program we will chase after all things performance related. Cardiovascular endurance, strength, stamina, speed, power, mobility, and more will all be addressed. We will be using the major weight lifting exercises (squat, press, deadlift, and their variations), fundamental gymnastics (pushups, pullups, situps, jumps, lunges, handstands, pistols, parallette drills), and cyclical “cardio” movements (i.e. running short and medium distances, rope jumping, stair running, etc.) in combination that allows for a constant variety of workout options. While there will be ample variety, there will also be structure and a plan to everything to ensure proper learning and progress takes place.

This program would be great for individuals who are competitive athletes, weekend warriors, have jobs that require unknown physical challenges (police, firefighters, military), want to be able to handle any physical demand that life throws at them (carrying your groceries in from the car, pushing the car out of the ditch in the winter, out-running a would-be attacker), or those who simply enjoy optimal health and fitness and want to get the most out of their training. This is the program you want.

Availability is limited so contact me soon if interested. As I already noted, this will be small group training. I am going to limit each group to no more than 6 people, so if there is enough interest, there will be multiple groups. If you are at all interested in this or have more questions (I hope you do), then please email me at jearleywine@hotmail.com or call me at 608-214-4481. This will be an investment in your health and well-being that you won’t regret.
